Stress.........  Stress........  Stress!!

Many of my clients are suffering from Stress. Indeed, I think it is the most common problem people encounter in their daily life, and, indeed, stress underlies many of the illnesses seen in the doctors surgery.

Yet, everyone has amazing gifts in controlling the effects of stress. We all have stressful incidents - it's part of being alive, but how we deal with them can and does influence our general health and well being.

The following ten questions may interest you.

If you have any doubts about your health, please consult your own doctor - this is only an indication of stress levels:

1. Do you lie in bed, worrying about tomorrow?

2. Are you impatient - interrupting other people?

3. Do you find it difficult to make decisions?

4. Do you feel guilty if you find a little time for yourself?

5. Are you drinking or smoking more?

6. Are you eating more or less than you really need?

7. Are you leaping from cricis to cricis, with little time in between?

8. Do you ever feel a thumping or palpitations in your chest?

9. Do you have so much on your mind that it's difficult to concentrate?

10. Do you ever get a dry mouth, sweaty palms or feel your stomach is tied up in knots?

These may all be indicators of stress, and "yes" answers suggest you would benefit from giving yourself a little love and care!

Stress relief/relaxation self hypnosis CD and booklet for sale

DSCF0003

This little pack has an eight page leaflet about stress, and a simple audio CD with three tracks on it. The tracks are quite short and contain only a speaking voice - there are no gimicks, no subliminal messages, no tricks - what you  hear is what is there!

If you  spend a few minutes, in a safe, comfortable place, and allow yourself to sit back and relax, then you will find they help you unwind, and have a brief mental respite....but the best thing about them is that because they are so simple, you will quickly learn to use them in ways that help you relax at any time you need to, without actually listening to them at that time. There is a sheet of advice on how to use the CD to take best advantage of this.

If you  would like this pack, please click here   the cost is just £5 with FREE P&P.

Just as a little aside, I found and liked this poem from a very new and as yet unknown poet. His name is C P Singleton, and he kindly allowed me to reproduce his poem entitiled PEACE...

Life really is too hectic,
Will it ever please slow down:
People trotting this way;
Cars speeding all around.

They make my head feel dizzy,
My eyes have trouble keeping still,
Even when I am in one seat
I have no time to kill.

I wish I could extrcate myself
from my telephonic hell!
There is always some worthless piece of gossip
Someone just really has to tell.

Won't you please listen,
For I'm about to burst,
I've hexed my e-mail account, and,
All the telephones are cursed.

I'm leaping put of the loop for an hour.
I'm taking some time for me.
I want nothing of your chatter.
Please, PLEASE, let me be!

Let me enjoy a cuppa,
Whilst it's good and hot.
I'll listen to the clock tick by,
Not fret about the time I've got.

No thrusting in  a sarnie,
Swiftly followed by a cake,
No piercing indigestion pains
All the time that I'm awake.

Just a quiet relaxing moment,
With me myself and I.
A moment to contemplate nothing, and,
Release a wondrous sigh.
